About the Position:

This is an entry-level operations position supporting the delivery of auto parts to our valued commercial customers while also assisting with task and inventory processes in the branch or distribution centre. 

Our Delivery Driver/Warehouse Team Members are responsible for:

  • Follows all safety rules and applicable laws;
  • Under general supervision this position drives a company truck or automobile over an established route(s) to deliver products and/or picks up returned merchandise;
  • Responsibility for collecting customer accounts and making approved pickups or deliveries;
  • Fulfills shipping and receiving functions within the warehouse -sorts, organizes and prepares merchandise from receiving or the production areas to storage or to other designated areas, by part and quantity; Accurately interprets various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed;
  • May use computer to enter, maintain, locate and create records, dispatch, confirm customer or stock orders and to generate delivery manifests and receiving documents;
  • Keeps vehicle fueled in accordance to management instructions and business needs and notifies management of needed repairs;
  • Responsible for maintaining and storing equipment (i.e. keys, fuel card) in accordance to warehouse guidelines;
  • Other related tasks including truck stocking, etc.

What you bring to the team:

  • Minimum 3 years’ class G driving experience required;
  • Must maintain a clean driver's abstract and immediately notify management of any change in its status;
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs;
  • Maintains a professional appearance and follows the customer service philosophy of the Company;
  • Flexible! – You must be available Monday to Friday as well as alternating Saturdays;
  • You are passionate about customer service – you strive to provide exceptional customer service. You speak and write clearly and effectively with customers and peers;
  • You are reliable – You are a self-starter who is dependable in completing tasks and is responsible with company vehicles and equipment;
  • You are a team player – You are dedicated to contributing to a collaborative team with a positive and friendly attitude and contribute to a safe work environment;
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED.
